Nadine Hunt of Save West Mabou Beach says it’s the third time their group is saying ‘no’ to the Cabot golf company, but the message is falling on deaf ears.
Premier Tim Houston says public consultation is part of the process, but the province must consider ideas for economic development given Nova Scotia’s billion dollar deficit.
... But Hunt says you can’t put on a price-tag on the natural beauty of West Mabou Beach, and there’s worry other protected areas could lose their status.
