Updated: Oct 8, 2025

CBC Radio (Information Morning Halifax) - November 1, 2023 Listen here

Nature Nova Scotia and the Ecology Action Centre have joined forces on a campaign urging the provincial government to amend and strengthen the Provincial Parks Act, in order to close loop holes and prevent future development proposals on protected park land. Ray Plourde (Senior Wilderness Coordinator with the Ecology Action Centre) and Lindsay Lee (Project Officer-Provincial Parks with Nature Nova Scotia) explain why it's so important that this government amend the legislation.
